DV-Alert eLearning General course and
eLearning Working with Women with Disabilities course

Free, nationally accredited training for frontline workers in Australia who prefer online learning or can’t attend a face-to-face workshop. You’ll learn how to recognise the signs of domestic and family violence.  The courses cover the scope, patterns and impacts of violence; what to consider for diverse groups, communication, interventions, safety, referral pathways and more.

Who it's for:

These workshops are for frontline workers in Australia, including those who provide direct service and support to the community (paid or unpaid) in sectors like health, allied health, education, childcare and community.

If you work with women with disabilities, the eLearning Working with Women with Disabilities course is the better option.

How it works:

Both online / on-demand courses comprise of 13 topics, each taking 1-2 hours to complete, plus 2 compulsory assessments. It is self-paced but we recommend completing 2 topics per week, over 6-9 weeks.

National accreditation:

After successfully completing the course (including assessments), you’ll receive a Statement of Attainment for the nationally recognised unit of competency CHCDFV001: Recognise and respond appropriately to domestic and family violence.

Eligibility and fees:

DV-alert training is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services. It’s free for frontline workers who are eligible. This means you:
