The humanness of psychology

When:  Aug 27, 2025 from 19:00 to 20:00 (AEDT)

What we all have within us as ‘healers’ is the capacity for change through the lens of unconditional positive regard and holding space. But at times we can lose sight of the human that sits opposite the client. Let's speak to our roles, normalise our humanness and recognise the integral part that drives us to help others.

In this webinar, Ali Poisat discusses mindfulness aspects of our self-worth, challenging the imposter syndrome, facing our fears of peer critique, navigating the world of constant comparison and judgement. Sharing that beneath the surface we are all vulnerable to hurt, fearful of failure and navigating life’s ever evolving opportunities of growth.

Through the lens of the practitioner, lets speak to the realities of our world and the ‘balancing act’ of holding space whilst being human, along with realising we sit in judgement of the experience of facing our truth.

In preparation for the webinar, Ali is hoping to collect some recent data to speak to and share on individuals' concepts and experience as practitioners in the wellbeing space.  Your assistance in taking a few minutes to complete this quick Survey would be greatly appreciated.
